First time here, sort of a mixed review. I didn't try the sushi. I had Japanese style beef curry, it came with shrimp tempura. It reminded me of a stew or soup, the curry was mild. The shrimp were crisp and tasty. I also tried the chicken teriyaki. It came with vegetable tempura, shrimp tempura, gyoza, salad,and miso soup. The chicken was dry and not seasoned. Instead they offered sauce to pour over. The tempura veggies were good, sweet potato and taro. The salad was crisp, and tiny with a flavorful ginger dressing. Overall my guess is they have some good items on their menu and some clunkers. They were very busy so the sushi may be worth a try in the future.
They're picky to whom they give great customer service, when my order was ready they didn't let me know it sat on the counter as other customers place their order anyone could have walked away with my food with me not knowing my food was ready ?.Like I said they give great customer service to whoever they want.In the past I have told and took everyone I know to this particular Sushi restaurant.Vegetarian options: Not sure it's a vegetarian place
What a disappointing experience. You sit at a shabby counter, facing the sushi supplies, but there's a giant piece of thick plastic separating you and them. Pretty rotten ambience. I waited five minutes and they handed me a folded paper menu. I looked and made my choice and then waited another five minutes while the man at the cash register doodled on his phone. The prices were high, and the service was pathetic, so I got up and walked out.
The Hispanic guy in gray clothing was cleaning teeth with his finger as he was handing me my miso soup when I was picking up my party tray… that was absolutely disgusting that I just had to threw away the soup when I got home since he handed it to me… I hope he didn’t clean his teeth with his fingers while preparing my sushi too now that I think about it….

The quality of Tomo is drastically decreasing. This used to be one of my favorite sushi spots and I would always grab some when I came to shop at H Mart. The sushi is lackluster and it’s definitely not as fresh as it used to be. There are plenty more sushi spots in Delaware county that are better than tomo therefore I cannot see myself going back there.

The only highlight of this restaurant is their sushi. I would advise against ordering their curry, as it has a consistency similar to plain soup.
