The shop was flooded with crowds in Sunday afternoon, luckily the line moved pretty fast. They took my order when I was standing in the line, so I could pay at the cashier and grab my order right away. Bagel is a true New York Traditional meal for sure. Choosing the right place for having a legit experience is something that you can't waste.Going to this out-of-this-world place is a must.There are huge sorts of homemade bagels, spreads, meats, and an infinite combination you can order.My sincere advice: try to figure out what line to direct your craving, otherwise you may be lost when asking about your desire.Another thing, for you, my dear traveler, don't expect to seat inside because it was not designed to get people seated.
This is your typical Tompkin's experience. You order at the counter, pay at the counter, and pick up your food at the counter—much like McDonald's, Taco Bell, or Popeye's. However, there is one significant difference: they expect a tip of over 20% for counter service. Despite that, their bagels and breakfast sandwiches are quite good, so I still rated them a 4 for the bakery. I was impressed by their speed, from the moment I placed my order to when my food was ready. This morning, I tried the Koch, and it was really nice.
Very very delicious and fresh bagels. The blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese was SO good!Not as many options as the other Tompkin Square Bagel locations. They still have tofu cream cheeses (around 6 options , but not as many as other locations.They give a LOT of cream cheese on the bagels which is great. Y'all. This place is to die for. Seriously, please go check it out if you are in NYC. Everything is so fresh and the staff was friendly and helpful. The blueberry muffin was incredible and the other pastries they had out looked great as well. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was so tasty. There's really not much else to say besides that. It was a quick, yummy breakfast in the city. Highly recommend!!
I ordered a French toast bagel with red velvet cream cheese, but when I opened the bag, I found something completely different. When I returned, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; they offered me two different flavors of cream cheese and were just the nicest people. These bagels were truly made by angels. I’ll definitely be coming back!
One of my favorite bagel shops! Every time I'm back in nyc I make sure to make a stop here! Everything is fresh here, service is great!the assortments of cream cheese is my favorite! Definitely try what speaks to you : there's a good amount of seating inside, cute to walk around outside. Ask for mo he's great and will guide you in the right direction!
While I don't usually find bagels that impressive, this one definitely stood out. It's a great place to stop by! The everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese was delicious, and the service was both prompt and friendly. Overall, I would come back! Next time, I'll be sure to get my bagel toasted.
