Went for lunch at Tom’s Famous and got a Bacon Cheeseburger Combo meal. Total came out to $11+ after tax. I like that they include ranch, ketchup, and chilies without me having to asking and better yet the ranch was free of charge burger was pretty small but nevertheless very delicious even the bacon was very tasty. One less star just because ive been to many mom pop burger places havent been served a burger this small for that price. Other than the value of the price, the food is delicious and staff at the drive thru window were hardworking.
This place is fantastic! I just wish the owners hadn't switched from allowing self-service refills to having servers do it. That change really takes away from the nostalgic experience. Other than that, every time I'm in the area, I have to stop by to eat. The food is just as delicious as I remember from my childhood.
I found half a burger in the trash and some hot French fries left on a table after someone had finished eating. The staff didn't say anything or ask me to leave, and a kind man even bought me a drink, so I ended up having dinner for the night! What an amazing experience! Thank you, Tom's!
