Puh, I don't know where to start. This place is right... special. The device is diceed in colour. You feel a little like in great-grandmother's room. In the two large shop windows, the Nepp falls. Between plush unicorn and ceramic frog, all kinds of dust collectors collect, which really catch the dust and no longer produce. The dead flies in the corner were disgusting. The clientele is rather busy. We pushed the age average enormously, which is in principle not bad. We had a cup of coffee and a tea. A menu was not offered to us. This was hanging in the window, which I found out later. The coffee was normal filter coffee, the tea was frying mix. The drink was 2.40€, which we found athletic. W...
Too bad, this was one of our favorite cafes in the Vareler port. It was small and cozy and there were super delicious homemade cakes and cakes. What we now found was just a typical coffee for mass tourism. Unfriendly and inattentive operation. The first quarter of an hour out there is no service even though several guests had just arrived. Instead, tables were covered inside with 2 people. The cake was OK, but also nix different, as with any baker. The prices are still human. it had nothing more of the original little coffee we remember so well.
We were with three people, family, in the afternoon at the Vareler port to drink coffee and enjoy a piece of cake. When after about 25 minutes, none of the two service personnel could get through to ask for our wishes and pick up the order, we decided not to consume anything here. Guests who came after us were served, we were ignored although we were quite noticed. This has never happened to me.
You drive out of the port area, then you get a bit of industry, a few houses and in between, right by the water: To 'n Appelbooom. Like the small area. You sit outside relaxed, you can taste its drinks and the cake. Here you can relax. Inside it is also sweet, there is breakfast early too, hot there are only as little things as Strammer Max . If I live in the area, I would often be here.

Here you can drink East Frisian tea, as with Muddern to Huus. Tea with Kluntje and Wulkje. The quality of the water and the Ostfriesen tea mix make the tea enjoyment an experience. Friendly service included. We come from NRW, have relatives in Sande and after a visit there is always a trip to the beautiful Varelerhafen, where we do not miss to return to the Appelboom.
I wanted to drink milk coffee today with my father. After a longer waiting period a woman came and explained her had no time to make breakfast After a waiting period of 15 to 20 minutes she could possibly make us milk coffee I thankfully rejected Zumal also the outer tablecloths not very much looked out I will not revise this location
So I can't feel people's appreciation. The service is great. You don't sit for 10 minutes and someone's coming. The prices are great and the staff nice and friendly. You can enjoy cafe and cake here as it is very idyllic for the port. 5 stars
We took coffee and cake at the port on the Terasse. The cake piece was huge and tasty and perfectly enough for us two! I had also ordered the ice cup with blueberries, in small version. This wish was met by friendly staff, without murmurs!

The coffee was good, I hadn't seen the cake before the order. I hadn't found any cakes, nor asked about it. Only minimal pieces of fruit were baked in the fruit cake, if I had not ordered after a visit, I was too dry as fruit
