We have been coming to Tongs regularly for 30 years yes, 30 years! We drive 40 minutes to come because it’s our favorite restaurant. It breaks my heart to leave a bad review but tonight, the Polynesian Beef was truly awful. It wasn’t just a bad cut of meat, the sauce and meat tasted terrible! Kids ordered simple dishes. Sweet and sour chicken and Orange chicken. Orange chicken was terribly and very small if any chicken at all in each piece. S&S chicken was average, it was plain because no sauce was given with the meal, even after we asked again for some. My wife and I got the meal for two. Appetizer was almost a joke. Meat was well over cooked burnt and chewy. Not sure how others believe this place is amazing. We will not be coming back to dine.
Where to begin. It took forever to get food but we knew it from the beginning. With all the people getting takeout and sitting inside we thought the food must be worth the wait. It was so bad. Our teenage son who eats everything in sight and loves leftovers refused to take anything home. The sauces looked like gravy, food was cold, and either had no flavor or tasted like straight up salt. Just awful!
This restaurant has a significant amount of dust inside. My son felt uncomfortable due to the cobwebs hanging from the artificial plants. The service was incredibly slow. Strangely, despite having a sushi bar, sushi wasn't available on the menu. Our entrees took so long to arrive that we decided to take them to go. I've certainly had better experiences elsewhere.

"The iced tea was cold, and the filling in the rolls was too generous. We prefer the smaller rolls with a nice amount of filling. There wasn’t enough cream cheese in the other dishes. However, the soup was good and had a nice flavor. Additionally, it lacked a vibrant atmosphere for a Friday night. Reviewed on 12/1/2022 by Beverly."
I liked this place a lot--from the different, yet fun, decor, to the awesome food, you the Lady wheeling things around in her cart! The stands out item for me was the egg roll--it was really good. The rest of the food too. Service was top notch. I'd go back!
The shrimp fried rice along with the shrimp egg foo young had zero flavor! I was already disappointed that the egg rolls only comes with pork mix with shrimp. No options for just shrimp egg rolls. No thanks I wont return.
Food is always great, moo-shoo is fantastic so why they don't make pancakes for them is a mystery.. they serve it with store bought tortillas which ruins it. Too bad

We took out whatever it was. Tasteless gruel, like yesterday's dishwater. Pieces of chicken floating around in the tasteless mess. Ugh!
I had orange chicken and chicken fried rice with egg roll everything was delicious love the atmosphere
