I visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Although there was no parking available in the lot, the restaurant only had two tables occupied, so seating our party of two was not an issue. The service was excellent and very efficient. We started with gyoza as an appetizer, which was delicious, but we only received five dumplings when six is the norm at other places. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was a big disappointment. The pork and miso broths were so bland that it was hard to tell them apart. During my first visit, I ordered the Tantanmen, and it was just okay. This time, I went for the Curry Ramen, but I found it disappointing. It had more of a gravy-like consistency than a broth, and the flavor was just strange. The few vegetables in the dish were served cold, almost as if they had come straight from the fridge. The highlight of the meal was the veggie egg rolls, but they were quite mushy inside. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The staff were very friendly, and I feel bad for them, but I would suggest trying a different place instead.
I stopped by this restaurant on my way to the airport and ordered the wing appetizer and the house specialty ramen. The wings had a decent flavor, but unfortunately, they were cold on the inside. I assume they are pre-cooked and then flash-fried when served, but whatever the case, the chicken was cooked but cold inside. The ramen, on the other hand, was quite good. The service was quick, but it struck me as strange that we were the only customers there at noon. Just as we were about to leave, a couple of other people arrived.
I used to come here often when I first moved to Utah back in 2021 and loved the food and the service. I just came back again today (8/21/24) and there’s a massive difference in the quality of the food. We got the takoyaki, and it was cold in the middle. The ajitama for our ramens were cold in the middle. The noodles felt tacky in the curry ramen. And $2.25 for a can of coke? The corn also tasted spoiled. And they didn’t have cucumbers for sunomono which is interesting. Will be looking for a different ramen place. Réservez une table maintenant
