Tony & Jim's Place

I've been coming to Tony and Jims for several years for their veal sandy's and wings. My coworkers and I work at a high school in the area and make it a point to come at the end of the semester every year, to grab a veal or meatball sandwich and a brio and sit in the backroom watching a dimly lit giant tube tv that was probably state of the art back in 1990. In high school and the summer months of my university days, I used to work at a warehouse up in North York and would frequent the hot table at the mafia owned Comisso Brothers and Racco bakery, where I was first introduced to the deep fried Panzo and a true Italian sandwich. I have been eating at Tony and Jim's for years and it physically pains me to write this review. This place makes the best veal sandwiches ever, but last night the pizza was far from good. It was the WORST pizza I have ever had!!!! Almost two hours for delivery, arrived cold, and completely flavourless. Not sure what happened, but I will definitely not be ordering pizza from them again. So disappointed...

I have enjoyed many great meals at Tony & Jim's for the past 15 years. You cannot go wrong with any of their pastas. The portion size is generous and the sauce tastes like homemade. I recommend the sandwiches, the Hot Veal tops my list with the Steak sandwich is a close second.

The guys at Tony & Jim's are absolutely amazing! Its always a friendly visit, if you've been there enough, they remember who you are and treat you like family. The food is absolutely amazing! The chicken wings are more like pterodactyl wings, their BBQ sauce is delicious!

Had the pizza and rice balls. Pizza was pizza but the rice balls were fantastic and addictive! The location is a little sketchy right beside a rundown bar BUT you can take your food to Chris Gibson Park which is right across the street.

Good Italian sandwiches at a fair price......Have been here a half dozen times in the past year for both lunch and dinner take out and eat in, highly recommend the veal sandwich

Food here is always great. Nothing entirely special, just really good, simple food done well. The family that owns it has great customer service and is always super friendly.

These guys have the best wings. They are very large and has a lot of sauce. We go out of our way to order from these guys. Their pizza is really good too

These guys have got the best veal sandwich in town. Great value for the money. Guys there are friendly.
