"Whole belly mussels!!! My darling! We were exaggerated, but wanted something from everything. The crab cake was preferred, can be much better in other Boston restaurants. Nevertheless, it was very crowded!"

3 /5 Évaluation

I decided to change my initial rating from 5 to 3 stars. My first two orders in June were high quality (1) fried lobster and (2) seafood plate. Two separate orders on different dates. They were very fresh, but of course they had a high price. That said, I didn't care about the price. I focused on the quality and professionalism of the staff. So my initial 5-star rating was based on the quality, consistency and greeting of the staff when I came in to collect my order, and efficiency in the verification/checkout. However, today's the girl clearly ruined my phone order of seafood plate. I asked to replace calamari in my seafood plate with extra clams. That didn't happen, after I checked the order when I got home. Also, the taste of my of fried seafood (unlike the first time) was like a burnt oil. In addition, they did not include tartar sauce that should be added automatically in the order of seafood plate. The girl at the register was a little rude, too. Consistency is key and they have to keep this value to keep customers happy.

Typical touristy fried seafood place on a beach. After trying The Clam Box next doors, I wanted to compare fried clams between the two. Ordered small fried clams and fried oysters, and they were both okay. Clams here definitely had better texture (but less seafood flavor) than the other, but overall, I enjoyed the ones here more despite the hefty price tag. Fried oysters also lacked flavors and I couldn’t exactly tell if I was eating oysters, but it went nicely with the tartare sauce nonetheless.

Biggest fried scallop I ever had! They were sweet and succulent! I would try the seafood platter next time. Outdoor sitting was nice perfect view to the shore. We got there around 6pm and had plenty of tables. But by the time we left around 7, it was packed.

Excellent quality seafood without much pretentiousness or fluff; they really let the (shell)fish speak for itself. Service was good and the atmosphere was top notch. Maybe a bit on the pricy end, but worth if for a table with a bay view.
