Toomey's Tavern

We stumbled upon this place after a day spent at Jones Beach. And it was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, we came a bit late for the live gig, which concluded around 8pm (I believe they start playing early in the day) but the part we caught was great. Beverages were inexpensive especially for Long Island standards and the food was really good. We took recommendation from the bartender on baked clams and pretzel and it was definitely a great choice (especially clams). In any case, I will definitely be back to chill for a weekend here again!

Great food, eating outside on the water, great surroundings, Lisa the Bartender is professional and friendly! Great place all year round! Vegetarian options: Has fish options, and vegetables, and more. Parking: parking is always available, parking also available Accessibility: has a ramp for indoor or outdoor dining.

Fun local bar! Staff very nice and attentive. Great bare dinner! Always great music! Will definitely be back!
