Top BBQ Restaurant

We went to this restaurant and chose to eat in as other reviews suggested this was the way to go.we ordered the crispy beef which was a recommendation both on the website and trip advisor reviews, if you like deep fried thin strips of beef dipped in a sweet sauce you may like this. we also ordered the bbq duck and pork combo which again was recommended on the website, considering this place was called top bbq we thought this was a sure thing, dissatisfied again. pieces of fat and bone were served in a heavy oily sauce coated in garlic.We also tried the fried rice thinking this should be a go to favourite at a chinse restaurant, wrong, it tasted like it had been sitting there for days or was reheated from a can.on the plus the prawn crackers were good.I wouldn't recommend going here unless you are over 60 or your taste buds have severely deteriorated.

Call me naive but I ordered takeaway from menulog Monday night after reading good reviews/ratings and many fables of free dishes and early arrival!Food arrived on time from an old Chinese man complaining to me of something... However he only spoke Chinese so I have no idea what he was talking about.It was probably the food...Spring rolls were in a now transparent oil-brown paper bag, squashed into flaky, soggy under-cooked gozleme looking strips with just bean sprouts and onion in them. Absolutely UNSERVABLE in a restaurant and had they not been in a bag I wouldn't have accepted them.Mongolian beef, full of water, lacking flavour.'CRISPY' pork in plum sauce was the foulest of floury, soggy disgusting meals I've ever ordered from any chinese restaurant in 20 years.Disgusting, do not order take away from this restaurant.

We decided to try Top BBQ restaurant due to all the good reviews on TA. Unfortunately we didn't experience the same . What was most upsetting was the TV was blaring & the staff basically fixed to the screen to watch The Voice. We had to ask for it to be turned down as it was really unsettling trying to dine with TV on. If we wanted to watch TV we would have stayed home ! The dishes were tasty but nothing special. We actually couldn't wait to leave. Staff were friendly but really didn't give care about good service. My hubby had to walk across the road to the pub to get some ice for my drink as the restaurant didn't have any.

Place a phone order last night and was given a 1 hour window and we had to ring after 75 mins. Food arrived at the 90min Mark. Yes,it was worth the wait. Very good,yum...and good value. Will order earlier next time.

Excellent service, very friendly, food wonderful, a great experience. Thank you! We visited 3 times and every time we were treated excellently. Given good advice and thoroughly enjoyed the food and our evenings.
