After receiving my first Covid vaccine, I decided to treat myself and my family to a deluxe takeaway order from a top BBQ restaurant. I had been eagerly anticipating dishes like glistening prawns, succulent chicken, glossy pork ribs, fried rice, and prawn crackers. The food arrived promptly, but sadly, that was the only highlight of the experience. The dishes were unrecognizable, with prawns resembling dried snails and the pork and chicken tasting like they had been reheated from the day before. Overall, the food was tasteless and disappointing, bearing no resemblance to what we had ordered. Despite the unfortunate meal, my family and I laughed it off and vowed never to return to that restau...
I live around the corner and gutted we’ve not been sooner!! We arrived last night as a group of with hungry kids, who were obsessed with the fish tank, we over ordered as the menu was extensive and everything looked amazing! We had...the veggie dumplings,yum cha platter, bbq pork, crispy skin chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken satay, special fried rice and fried rice. Everything was so fresh and beautiful. Byo wine also which is a bonus! Really felt welcome and the staff were wonderful with our and year olds. Can’t wait to come back and try more! Thank you!!
This was the worst and most overpriced Chinese meal I have ever had. I ordered the King Prawn XO with snow peas and it was awful - slimy prawns on a bed of snow peas with no taste, I couldn't even finish it. The lemon chicken was dry and barely edible. The special fried rice was also disappointing, it was gluggy and had no flavor. I would recommend avoiding this place, the staff are also very dull.
On holiday from Scotland, having just spent time in Bangkok and Phuket....this restaurant was fabulous. Their home made dim sum is to die for, there was a crowd of us dinning on our first visit and every dish that was ordered was appreciated by us...all. Went back a second time and enjoyed it even better. Service impeccable, we will be back before going home. Loved it !!!

My family has been frequenting Top BBQ for many years now and we have never been let down. The owner, Paul, and his team are always welcoming and helpful. Make sure to ask for Paul's recommendations - the food is delicious and reasonably priced.
Wow, was really impressed with the quality of yumcha here. It really was all hand made. Every dish was excellent. Really rate this place and will definitely come back. What a find for the northern beaches.
Food was tasteless and expensive. They seemed to have boiled all the flavour out of the lamb and the chicken wasn't much better. Waiter laughed when we showed the black hair found in one of the dishes.
The food alone warrants a Star rating. The price is very reasonable. The location is fantastic, and the genuine and friendly service makes this restaurant unbeatable value. One not to miss.

Yum Cha for a family celebration was a great success. Excellent service and food, both from the carts and dishes chosen from the menu. Don't miss the Green Beans with Pork.
I recently enjoyed excellent fresh yum cha here however I was shocked to pay over for just standard dishes, tea and water!?
