This is the best calzone I have ever tasted. The thin, crispy homemade dough pairs perfectly with the fresh ricotta and sausage filling. It is cooked perfectly, with no burns, and served with a side of delicious homemade sauce. You won't find a better calzone in Boonton. The restaurant has a very Italian-inspired interior that adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend eating here.
I was blown away by this restaurant! As soon as I walked in, the smell reminded me of my favorite childhood pizza. But that's not all! They have another room with a spacious seating area where they serve incredibly tasty appetizers and entrees. The modern Italian cuisine is affordable and the staff is friendly, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
Family owned by real Italians means the food IS NOT American Italian ... it 's delicious authentic Italian comfort food and they have the best sauce (not gravy lol... sauce . Pizza is awesome and tastes like real North Jersey pizza... like everyone craves from South Jersey down to Florida. Great job guys!! Thanks for being there for us during Covid-19 craziness
Home City atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food prepared by the cook. Reserve if you plan to dinate after 17:00. A very pleasant visit that we will recommend to the family and friends. This restaurant is large, with big portions and friendly staff. I moved to Texas in 2001, but whenever I come back to visit, I always make sure to stop by Jrsy Hotta. The food is delicious and the portions are huge, so come hungry. I always end up taking some leftovers home because there's just so much food.
