Torete´s Mexican Grill

I thought I would not leave a review of this restaurant, just out of mercy, but then I thought, what about the innocent? As I sat in the dining room, I waited for a server to notice me. There were other people in the restaurant so I thought, I guess theplace is okay. After a time, a server came to my table and handed me a menu and some chips and salsa. I ordered fajitas. Whenmy meal arrived, it looked absolutely delicious! Just look at these photos! This is a lesson and how looks can bedeceiving. The chicken was dry, the bell peppers were mushy, the beans were runny. Chips were the only thing somewhat decent. They forgot our salsa and the guacamole was mostly onion and tomato and cilantro. Chicken enchiladas were dry, garlic shrimp had no flavor and the tortillas were rubbery. The beef tacos had more cilantro then beef and they forgot the cheese and tomatoes requested. The wet burrito was lackluster and the sauces were not good either. Definitely didn't get an authentic feel and won't order again :

Since it went under a new management, we absolutely love this place. Their fajitas are enough for two people, so my wife spit one order. Also, their Aztec soup is the very best. If anyone remembers El Charros tortilla soup which was to die for that theydiscontinued, well the Aztec soup here is almost a clone but better, it?s not as salty which is even better! Our number 1 placefor authentic Mexican food!

My family and I decided to come try this place out we sat there for 20 mins before anybody brought us chips and salsa. The waitress kept walking past us looking at us. We didn’t get offered menus or drinks. People that walked in after us got served before us. Ended up walking out after 25 mins of no service. Réservez une table maintenant

Literally the BEST Mexican food I've tasted in Michigan. Authentic taste, good service, and friendly people. We go out of our way to eat here as often as possible. My husband is from Texas and this is a taste of home for him. Always a five star meal!

Best Mexican food we've had in a long time! There are plenty of Mexican restaurants near us, but its worth driving out of your way to eat here. The portions are huge and affordable. Chips and salsa are delish and they bring you 4 kinds, made fresh!

Recommended for take out!! The food is amazing!Not sure if the staff is just quiet or annoyed... It's hard to tell.The atmosphere for dining in is a bit drab, which is disappointing, because the margaritas are delicious!

Stopped in for a Taco Tuesday fix, ordered 2 beef soft tacos and 2 beef crunchy tacos to Go, Order came out right away and they were Awesome! I also loved the house hot sauce. Réservez une table maintenant
