Torizen - Réservation de table

I don’t write reviews very often but I had to for Torizen out of pure disappointment. I first came here when it first opened and the food, presentation, service were all top quality. I’ve recently went again and everything has just gone downwards. I ordered a don and the pork cutlet was over cooked, the egg was behind overcooked, all hard no runny spots, and the sauce was slightly too sweet. This place is nowhere as good as it once was and it genuinely hurts me to see a restaurant as good as this downgrade so much.Edit: It’s still a pretty good restaurant if you’re looking for Japanese food in the area. Just won’t cut it if you’re looking for well executed dishes.

I was really looking forward to trying this place since it was my first time having ramen. I ordered the spicy miso ramen along with two appetizers and some plum wine. My friends and I had just finished our meal and were still enjoying our drinks when the waitress came over and told us, "I know you still have drinks, but we need you to leave. We have people waiting." It was frustrating because as soon as we settled the bill, it felt like they were eager to move us out since they realized we weren’t going to spend any more money. While I was satisfied with the food, I was disappointed by how we were treated. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Every visit to this restaurant offers an incredible Japanese dining experience. The sushi, hand rolls, appetizers, and more are all exceptional. For those who love ramen, I highly recommend the spicy ramen. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and private. It's difficult to find better authentic Japanese cuisine and ambiance elsewhere. Overall, this ranks as one of the top five Japanese restaurants in the Chicagoland area.

Terrible experience. The ramen tasted like instant Maruchan noodles in broth. To make things worse, one of the waitresses rushed outside to confront me about not tipping her, practically demanding that I show my appreciation for the food. There's a far better ramen place within two miles, though I can't remember the name. I would rate this place a 0 out of 10 and definitely wouldn't recommend it. Service: Dine-in. This restaurant was truly exceptional. For the best experience, I recommend going alone. Personally, I consider it the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Everything was flawlessly executed, and the attention to detail and care was evident. It felt like a genuine representation of the true Japanese approach to dining.

Some of the best authentic Japenese food I've had in a long time. Such a rad little spot with great staff, amazing quality food, and a fun drink list that includes some Japanese whiskey's! Always a fun surprise to have some whiskey instead of sake.

This is my third visit to this restaurant. My kids really enjoy the Katsu and Udon. The service is good, and the food is tasty as well. The only reason I rated it four stars is that there's no option for sushi or sashimi on the lunch menu.

50$ for this ???? We paid 110$ for 3 dishes that were ramen, seabass and sashimi. Haven’t been cheated in along time.

Authentic Japanese food, ramen was a bit salty but overall all items tasted good
