Tornado Steak House

Wow, wow... boy I'm glad I stumbled in this place after some research online. One of the best steak houses I was in my travels! Prices are very reasonable... Food quality is not... I will visit this place when I come to Madison in the future very highly recommended! Escargot was delicious and the 16oz Sirloin could have told me it was so tender. I was told by locals that I should have put onions and cheese on the hash brown side... I'll do this next time, and I was told I should try the iceberg wedge... Next time sure!

This restaurant is our absolute favorite. My parents were celebrating their 40th anniversary and both ordered the Walleye. I went for the filet because the steak is amazing! They couldn't stop talking about how it was the best Walleye they had ever eaten. The crab bisque was perfect and the seasonal vegetable, golden beets, were also perfect. The experience and the food totally exceeded our high expectations. I can't help but smile as I think back on the incredible evening.

Had a nice birthday dinner here on a Monday night. Fortunately Tornado’s is open on Monday, because many other fine restaurants aren’t. The food was fantastic!!! The drinks menu is pretty good, and we enjoyed some of the house cocktails. I loved The Frankie and it! The whole food was fantastic and served HOT! We ate so much that we ran out of the restaurant. Our server Matt B ensured that we took care of a professional service. We will recommend tornados in the future.

Hands down the best steak I have ever eaten! The New York Strip was to die for..melt in your mouth perfection. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and the lime garnish was delicious. Caesar salad was the best I have had. The spread of bread and vegetables was delicious as well. The waiter never allowed my glass of water to be empty, which is extremely important to me. I live 6 hours away and plan on returning just for a delicious meal. Réservez une table maintenant

Superb bar and staff asked for extra blue cheese olives no problem had them ASAP Great meal walleye for me And filet for Hubs Considerate wait staff polite and efficient Love the place one of our fave go to Madison restaurants

If you enjoy the ambiance of a supper club with a Rat Pack music vibe, nostalgic decor, and exceptional food, then you must visit Tornado Room. I have dined here numerous times and have always had an outstanding experience.

This is the best restaurant we have ever dined at. All of our dishes were outstanding and the service was top-notch! We will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we visit Madison in the future.

Had the bone in ribs. Just as ordered cooked. Good service. Beautiful selection of appetizers and salads. Very reasonable prices when considering the quality and size of steaks.

Such a great place full of charm and great drinks the food was amazing if I’m ever in Madison again I will come eat and drink with some cool locals
