Went last night the food is absolutely amazing!!!! The trio was cooked perfectly, Oscar style is my favorite. We got the Clams casino, beet salad, Brussels, sweet potato mash, and crisp w the coconut almond ice cream and every single item was perfect. It was a beautiful meal start to finish, this is by far the best service experience that I have ever had in the city of Rochester. If you have never been I highly suggest you go it's a very special experience that every couple should have.
The first time here and it will definitely not be my last. Everything was perfect from excellent service to the timely arrival of our foods. The steak simply melts in your mouth it is so delicate and tasty, the bread has the beautiful crisp edges, but warm and soft inside. Salad alone is dying. The sweet potato wasn't too sweet, they were right. The salmon was also a hit. I had never made salmon with peppers and vegetables boiled under, was amazing.
Best food and service in Rochester. The staff is very knowledgeable for menu items that the restaurant offers and can make great pairing recommendations. Amazing selection of wine and first-class steaks and fish. The environment is warm and welcoming and has a lot of charm and character. Well preserved property built almost a century ago. They also offer private rooms for special evenings with friends or business meetings. Very recommended.
My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at the restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the escargot and the wife had the lobster bis for appetizers. Absolutely delicious. The whole meal was excellent. The mood was subtle conversations with a casual laughter. Lighting was very fitting and the staff very professional and mature. We'll be back for sure. We had dinner here on January 16th. By far the best cocktails, steak, service and all around romantic atmosphere in all of Rochester. Leo was our server, he was wonderful!!! The rib eyes were melt in your mouth wonderful and we enjoyed sharing the grilled asparagus and gratin potato casserole...... and we topped it off with a fabulous apple crisp ala mode. A fabulous date night!!!!!!!
50. Birthday Dinner, and everything was great!! The food, the service, the atmosphere, the new furnishings... all the upper notch!! The staff worked so well. I can't wait to go back. I've loved this place since they first opened up, but they really have put it even more!! Thank you for a great meal and experience!!
