Town Country Diner

While it is difficult to get in and out of near the junction of 206/130 this Diner is well worth the difficulty of getting into the property. The menu consists of 10 pages of choices and an additional page for the daily specials. There is most certainly something for anyone depending on if you want a snack or a full meal. If you are planning on stopping for dinner make sure you bring an empty stomach. The dinner included soup salad dessert. The food came out well timed with plenty of time to eat the soup and salad before the main entree was brought out piping hot. The dessert I was expecting just some institutional pudding and it was it was not that it was certainly home made. The staff was friendly and made sure I was always looked after between courses.

I'd never been here before and have never eaten out on Thanksgiving before so a whole new experience... This place was packed with a constant influx of people. I was so impressed with the workers, everyone from the hostess, bus people, waiters etc. They all had such friendly, happy spirits and are such hard workers. Thanks. The food was delicious too: warm rolls, fresh salads, and the fettuccine Alfredo was creamy and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are huge so definitely took home more than I ate to enjoy again tomorrow. I highly recommend this place.

Extra large posh, emotionally cozy diner with the largest and most beautiful display of baked goods. Choice of one of these comes with some if the meals for dessert. Because of my back disability I can't sit as long as I would like so I have to leave this nirvana of food and comfort I must always leave earlier than I want to. Consists of 3 separate rooms includes diner with counter and booths and a nice bar area also with booths around the perimeter. 2 of the rooms have mostly tables but a few booths for large groups. My favorite all time restaurant.

Went there for dinner with 3 people at the recommendation of our hotel clerk. Unfortunately it was the WORST meal we have ever had at a diner. Soups were completely inedible- waiter admitted there was an issue with the chicken soup (watery) but matzo ball soup was just as bad. Prime rib was tough, liver and onions was cooked to death, and their fried eggplant is like deep fried potato skins, not delicate eggplant pieces. Absolutely horrible meal and when we noted this to the check out clerk, she had basically nothing to say. Avoid at all costs!!

Burgers were perfect fries with melted cheese or brown gravy great service....desert amazing cookies amazing... glad I walked out of chickies and Pete's I want to thank the headway Tricia Chickies and Petes for giving me a dirty look and completely ignoring me and let me a cross street to a great lunch
