I used to go to this diner with my husband before he passed away. They were always very accommodating with a friendly waitstaff. My husband passed away in January of 2021 and I had not been back since. Today I decided to give it a try knowing it would bring back memories. They had one waitress working the entire restaurant. After sitting in my booth for a while with no service the manager came and asked for my drink order. The waitress asked once if I needed a drink long after the manager had asked. Long story short the manager became my waiter. To the waitress I was all but invisible. She treated her “regulars” quite well but I didn’t exist. I eat out by myself 99% of the time and usually am treated much better than that. I will not be returning to this place again.
I used to come here as a teen and now almost 50 yrs old I still enjoyed what I ate. Living in the south they dont know what a hard roll is, she not only gave me some to go she also buttered them! She went above and beyond. Thank you for a great diner experience, your updated interior was a delight to eat in.
Me and my wife have been to this diner quite often in the last couple of weeks it’s been very consistent. She gets the matzoh ball soup and they’re very tender and very good. I had ordered the corn beef Reuben today. It was just what I expect to get from a diner. The service is very good as well.
The dinner was excellent and got your money worth from soup to desserts When I was here, it wasn't too busy when I left to get busy. There clean and they have TVs and a minibar (drink list is on your table) I definitely recommend coming here! (Photos from March 10)
