Pub Town Of Ramsgate

Came across this place after we had visited The Prospect of Whitby, we had spoken to a black cab driver who advised us to visit, so glad we did, was only expecting to stay for 1 or 2 drink ended up staying all night, the place is buzzing, a proper little gem of a place. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially Sid, he actually made our night a very special one! We were planning on moving on for food but then because the food they were bringing out looked smelt so nice, we ended up eating there as well!! Will definitely be back. Sid, keep being you, ur a star x

Whenever I’m working in London I head for this pub in the evening with my group of visitors from the USA. It ticks all the boxes. Staff are friendly, fun and efficient, the chef produces first rate pub grub and the riverside location and cask ales is another big plus. It unfailingly gets a big thumbs up from my travellers. A sincere thank you to all the staff with a special shout out for Syd and Michael who consistently go the extra mile for us.

I can't praise Ramsgate enough for making our short break there such a good visit. Clearly the last few years have been difficult, but despite this there is such a good unpretentious welcoming vibe about the Town. Much to do explore. Plenty of good bars restaurants to enjoy. A great apartment to stay in. Such a good base to visit the area from. Can't wait to get back.

Nice pub. The owner publicly chides his staff during a pub quiz. Otherwise decent boozer. Quick service. Regrettable.

We go to this pub twice a year as we are not local but we always receive a warm welcome and great service.
