I used to drive from Irondequoit to Noonan's because the food, the drinks and the service was THAT good. This past Saturday we arrived early (as usual) to get a seat. 5pm and only one other party in the dining room? Two servers, came around server #1 first, needed more time to look at beer menu. Then the other server stops by apparaently not knowing. Beer came out relatively quickly, but that was the best part of this visit. Three of our 4 orders came out after maybe 25 mins? Server #2 states they are behind in the kitchen, someone called in sick The last of the 4 meals came out about 15 minutes after that (My cheeseburger and bacon wrap with steak fries). We live so close to noonans would go several times a month plus order takeout. Since they changed ownership we’ve been 4 times, and each experience was worse than the one before. We’ve been without drinks (2x’s) without the correct food (3x’s), waited forever to be served (4x’s) and the very last visit we waited over an hour and a 1/2 to never get our appetizer (or 2nd drink). They had the nerve to not even comp our drinks knowing we were upset leaving. And before we left, 3 other tables walked out and a guy was yelling about the wait for his food in the bar area. surprisingly good. I admit I had quite low expectations when my family asked if we could try this place, but I was pleasantly surprised how great it was. the service was excellent - our server was very attentive and friendly. the food was a big cherry about typical pub evening. my veggie burger was served on fresh ciabatta brot with homemade chips, perfectly salted and crispy. the whole family was satisfied with their meal and the portions were generous. we will make noonans a regular stop - can not wait to try other things on the menu!
Great service, decent food. Came in right before dinner was over. Ordered some Potato Skins and Chili(Skins were good, Chili was kind of luke warm). My wife got the Shepherd's Pie, and I got the Turkey Reuben. My wife enjoyed hers, mine was ok. The turkey was dry and a little hard, but the overall sandwich would've been good. I think our timing was just poor, we didn't realize they switched to the bar food menu after 8. Definitely would go back..very friendly atmosphere.
great food and atmosphere. my man and I have been customers for two or three years. love the location server and owners are always friendly, service is fast. hubby loves the craft beer selection. also eat super. jack blue sticks are the best appetizer. menu has something for many. great bar food. their home made chips are also great. my favorite sandwich is the bark on wake.
Great Burgers!. Stopped by TR Noonan's for burgers with my teenage son. They were cooked to order and served on freshly toasted buns. Should've requested cheese on them, but oh well... they were delicious as served. Salads were fresh and tasty and the service was excellent as well. Reasonably priced to boot.
