The food is absolutely delicious, but sadly, the service leaves much to be desired. Each time I've come in to place a to-go order, I've been met with disrespectful treatment. The servers come off as rude, cold, and unfriendly. No matter the time of day, how I look, or what I order, I feel as though I'm being treated as less than a person. Today, I was assisted by Ana, who struggled to engage with me—she had difficulty making eye contact and completing my order without a curt attitude. If you're looking for great sushi, this is the place to go. However, if you're seeking good service, especially as a person of color, this isn’t it.
Great sushi! The staff at the sushi bar were fast and friendly. Good variety. The salmon Nigiri was amazing, very fresh. For AYCE sushi, you definitely get your money's worth. The only negative was the hostess at the beginning. She didn't ask us if we wanted the AYCE when we came in, just sat us at a table. When we asked our server about the AYCE, she told us it was only at the bar and got us a spot right away. The place does look a little run down, but the sushi is still great quality.

I've been to Trapper's several times and have not been disappointed. They have a wide variety of sushi and rolls on the menu, and a full bar with impressive cocktail list. I'd avoid the hot tea it was not great. I stop here every time I'm in the area, and am always looking for reasons to be in Kent so I can stop in.
Amazing sushi place I’ve ever been, everything is good about this place, employees are very nice, helpful and quick to take your order. Always appreciate that. Although it is recommended to take the all you can eat as this place is pricey. Clean environment and vibe, good rating of 10/10. Wish I could give more!
This place has pretty great sushi. We ordered the sushi roll of the month. It was perfection as was all the other food and the drinks. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was kind, helpful and attentive. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant so you don't have to search for parking around kent station.
I super love Trapper's Sushi <3 because of the variety of choices they have. Went here 2/14/2022 for the All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Dinner and it was packed (as expected)! because of Valentines Day. Overall, quality was above and beyond. Will come back for more!
