Mama Mia is a top-notch Italian restaurant located at Christies Beach, complete with a lovely outdoor seating area adorned with classic red and white checkered tablecloths. I can't help but chuckle at the negative reviews—they're honestly amusing. Our waitress was fantastic; she took the time to walk us through the menu and thoroughly explained the dishes. The gnocchi was delightful, and the sauce was so good it was perfect for dipping garlic bread. So many reasons to love this place. Fantastic food, great portions and well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful meals last night. Above and beyond this was the absolute professionalism of Ash, the owner, when handling a very rude and demanding American who thought she had the right to order extras, and not pay. We watched her performance over a $4 charge, and were in awe of the way Ash maintained his composure. Congratulations on all counts, and thank you to all of your staff. Five stars.
Let me begin by saying WOW! The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. The pasta dishes were amazing—packed with flavor and generous portions (they're more than happy to let you take home any leftovers). The pizza, topped with eggplant, arugula, and cheese, was fantastic! The coffee was also top-notch, and we couldn't resist trying the desserts, which were fresh and authentic. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning!
I visited this restaurant with a friend, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The starter of bruschetta was perfect. For the main courses, we had gnocchi and risotto. The risotto was exceptional, and the gnocchi was the best I've had outside of homemade. The wine list is concise, showcasing different varieties without specifying the brands. The dessert was enjoyable, although my cheesecake was slightly dry. I will definitely be returning soon.

We had the banquet and it was perfect. It was a seafood salad, and two types of pasta. The portions were huge for $35 dollars with dessert. The service was the highlight of our night!! Thank you to Skye who put up with our 100 questions and was so knowledgble about the menu and wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back without a doubt!
Great food, generous servings and friendly staff. The chef made a point of popping out to say hello to the patrons, check that the food was being enjoyed and generally express an interest in thoughts. The atmosphere might be a little crowded at times but would absolutely recommend as a place to come for great Italian flavours!
Our first visit to a surprising traditional Italian restaurant in Christies Beach. The staff were very friendly and showed great knowledge with their wine menu. Food was awesome, gorgeous flavour in their minestrone soup, with a bowl size which I was unable to finish. Will definitely recommend to friends and return soon.
My favorite restaurant. Been there a few times and it never lets me down. Pasta is amazing. Great service too. I actually really love watching the tv there showing Roma street people. Great contemporary Italian music playing too.

We had a fantastic lunch there. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. We ordered ravioli and a pizza and both outstanding. Will be back.
Pizza is poor quality. Similar to Domino’s. Would have expected better from a ‘restaurant’
