Was dann auf den Teller kam, war nicht einfach nur Essen, das war eine religiöse Erfahrung. Alles war so frisch und dermassen köstlich, dass ich beim Essen eine Vision hatte. Ich war mir zu 100 sicher: In der Küche steht eine kleine, erfahrene italienische Nonna mit Mehl im Gesicht, die seit 70 Jahren nichts anderes tut, als Pasta zu rollen und Saucen abzuschmecken. We had an amazing experience at La Leonessa in Zurich. The food truly felt like authentic Italian comfort done properly — everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell the pasta is homemade: perfectly cooked, delicate, and on a completely different level from standard restaurant pasta. The staff were outstanding — super attentive, genuinely kind, and always making sure we were happy without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the kind of place where you instantly relax and enjoy the moment. For us it was a 10/10 experience, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for real Italian food and great hospitality.
Perfetto. Non c’è altro da aggiungere. La migliore genovese della mia vita. Prodotti freschissimi e cucinati in maniera impeccabile. Abbiamo assaporato sia piatti di terra che di mare, che dire ? Tutto delizioso. Jonny (lo chef) oltre a cucinare divinamente è una persona squisita e il suo ristorante rispecchia perfettamente la tradizione napoletana. Le foto parlano ma consiglio l’assaggio per restare davvero senza parole. Grazie di cuore per questa esperienza. Torneremo sicuramente Ps: non perdetevi i dolci che sono stati spettacolari.
Wir waren heute im la Leonessa und es war einfach top. Das Essen war sooo fein man merkt sofort, wie frisch und hochwertig die Zutaten sind. Alles war liebevoll zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, gemütlich und entspannt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service: super freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung.

We had a wonderful meal at La Leonessa. The food was really tasty and very homely definitely had Nonna's touch. The waiter was very helpful in his recommendations. Can definitely recommend the Parmigiana di melanzane, Paccheri alla Genovese, Polpette della Nonna and Tiramisù dishes. Will definitely be back.
Authentische neapolitanische Küche. Absolut empfehlenswert, ohne Wenn und Aber. Perfekter Service, guter Wein, die Speisen ohne Makel zubereitet. Viel besser geht (in diesem Segment) nicht.
