I dreamed to come New York, from a small town in Alabama. First time visit we decided to stay in New Jersey. Was loosing hope to enjoy the city and a good meal had no idea how expensive it could be, but we found a sweet stranger when visiting the Metropolitan Museum over heard our complaints of not enjoying it as much and finding a good place to eat that was not expensive. Such a sweet cozy restaurant, ambiance is welcoming, servers are attentive and our food arrived pretty fast. As an appetizer we ordered fried calamari which was amazing(5stars), and as a main course we ordered two small pizzas one white pizza and one with artichoke and black olives. I have to say that, I was really disappointed with the taste. The crunchiness and thickness was just perfect but the taste! For white pizza I really think they need to change the brand they use for ricotta cheese it taste different than other white pizzas I tried at different restaurants. Fabulous food and service. Very nice restaurant area with a great atmosphere and reasonable prices. It is BYOB, but there is a liquor store almost next door. We ran and got wine while our party was seated. Staff were very accommodating, changed our table to a less draughty one, allowed appetizers for entrees, and corked our BYOB free of charge. The waiter and waitress were sociable and friendly. Food was EXCELLENT, delicious, piping hot soups (lentil and cream of brocolli), and a great selection of entrees that were cooked spot on. Napoli has the best pizza in town and their cheesy garlic knots and pasta dishes are amazing too. We come here regularly and their staff and service are great. But I find their large pies on the smaller side. Overall, A+ experience everytime. Thanks!
