I went to this restaurant on Thanksgiving 2022 with my boyfriend. I had been sick with a bad chest cold and laryngitis for the past week, which was evident in my hoarse voice. Because I was not feeling well, my appetite was small but I still wanted to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner. My boyfriend planned on ordering the turkey dinner, so I asked the waiter if I could order a children's portion since I couldn't eat a full adult meal. Unfortunately, the manager refused this request. As a result, my boyfriend and I ended up sharing an adult meal. BUYER BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES FOR TAKEOUT! VERY DECEPTIVE PRICING PRACTICES! I called in a simple takeout order of Fettuccine Alfredo and asked to have shrimp added to the order, something simple and I assume common for an Italian Restaurant. When I was picking up the order the price jump for having added shrimp was $20!!! When I questioned this and asked for some clarification of the up charge I was informed that each individual shrimp was an additional up charge! Never advised of this when I was ordering and never have I ever seen this was of charging extra for shrimp. It’s a shame because this CHAIN RESTAURANT has generally had good food and service at its other locations. BUYER BEWARE
My husband and I frequently dine at Trattoria Romana for dinner. The food is always fantastic, and the atmosphere and staff are exceptional. Last night, we had a special event in the new lower-level function room. The room was beautifully decorated, and the upscale appetizers I ordered for my guests were incredibly delicious, including shrimp scampi, calamari, bacon-wrapped scallops, and stuffed mushrooms. I also ordered desserts to treat my guests during the event. Everyone complimented the gorgeous room and delicious food, and they thoroughly enjoyed the event. A big thank you to Dan and the hardworking staff for making this event perfect.
Unmemorable Italian food. Menu sounds grand but in fact the food is flavorless and unexceptional. Sauce had the consistency, aroma and taste of something out of a can that might have had a dash or two of red wine added. Food had none of the traditional spice and flavors of real italian food. Mostly reminded me of Chef Boyardee in its flavor, texture and appearance. The Italian restaurant for people who don't know good Italian food from mediocre italian food. The service at this restaurant is outstanding. Abby was our server and she was exceptional. This place is amazing! I visited for lunch on a Thursday and had the most delicious pasta, espresso martinis, and wine. I can't stop thinking about that spaghetti. Make sure to try the mama's Sunday gravy. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with a strong sense of community. AWWWW.
Got an italian sandwich, and it was just delicious. Some prosciutto on there... oh it was so good. I'll definitely be back. The host was super friendly and she gave us a seat at the bar right away. The bartender was very formal and served us right away.Wonderful sandwich, definitely hit the spot. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Great lunch overall.
Was ify about trying this place but omg! I got the fettucine alfredo with a side of fries and it was AMAZING!! Best fettucine i have had, it came out and there was alot! And it was soooo cheesy creamy good???? My mother got the turkey club sandwich and hadto take half home it was huge! Prices for sure worth it for the quality and quantity!
