Nous avions entendu de grandes choses sur la pizza de Villagio et avons décidé d'essayer d'essayer. Nous sommes arrivés vers 15h30 un samedi et nous sommes assis à l'extérieur dans leur cour intérieure. Après avoir examiné le menu, il n'y avait aucune liste de pizza. My boyfriend and I were at the Paradise Springs Winery nearby and decided to stay in the area for dinner. We arrived in the small town of Clifton not knowing what to expect, and after walking around for a few minutes we knew it was exactly the type of setting we adored—quaint, historic, and populated with friendly residents and charming local businesses. Another fabulous meal at Trattoria Villagio. We initially found this restaurant from an article in the Cooperative Living Magazine 4 years ago. The service food Never Disappoint. We’ve been there for dinner, brunch today was lunch after a graduation at GMU. Our waiter was informative friendly. He offered wonderful suggestions for a charcuterie board was able to answer all our menu questions. The homemade pastas are amazing, and the mussels in a white wine sauce, excellent. The white anchovies appetizer is just that a bowl of white anchovies. I liked it but usually these are served with some bread... just saying..... The breakfast lasagna was a bit strange sweet in savory all in one my wife was not a big fan. My tagliatelle Bolognese was really quite good. Bread came about 20 minutes after we sat down but was good. An app, two mains, and two teas was $48, good for a nice little town so close to the beltway.
The pizza is pretty good. Not my fav but still very good and the slices are a good size. The sandwhiches however are SO GOOD, there a great thing to have for lunch and are very meaty usually with a good bread. I would recommend for anyone who wants a good Italian sandwich.
Fantastic pizza, a true Jersey style pie and sandwiches which is very hard to find around this area. They do every part right, flavorful thin crust, flavorful sauce and full fat cheese, they really nail it.
J'ai vraiment apprécié la nourriture et la décoration. Niché dans le petit centre de Clifton, il s'agit d'un joyau caché. Excellent gnocci et nous serons de retour bientôt.

Loved the Salmon Piccata with angel hair pasta. Just perfect. Creme brûlée was delicious. Service was great too. Love the patio too!
