As a town, Buchs SG is nothing to write home about. However, thanks to Guide Michelin, I had dinner in this charming restaurant - great food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.I sat in the dining room: an awesome masterpiece, nicely decorated, with much room between tables. It surely is cozy in winter, but do not sit there on a hot summer evening - I sweated profusely during the whole dinner!The menu puts focus on freshly prepared regional and seasonal produce. We had dinner in this surprising place: a perfectly restored dining room in wood panels and wall paintings. Lots of space, good menu with an extensive wine list, friendly and considerate service. The food was excellent too, altogether an experience to remember. The tab is, as expected, quite high. Well, this is Switzerland.
