I used to work at Treebeards in the past and the food is truly amazing. The sausage red beans and rice dish is a must-try. The homemade desserts are also fantastic, especially the red velvet cake. I have fond memories of my coworkers on my last day, they were great people and I miss them a lot. If you're ever in Houston, make sure to visit Treebeards, you won't be disappointed.
The overall food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the Shrimp etoufee stands out as particularly exceptional. The succulent shrimp, fresh crunchy onions, and celery atop perfectly cooked rice make for a heavenly dish. The fast service and lack of obligatory tipping on a screen at Treebeards in the tunnels makes it even better. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best food in the tunnel and easily the best deal as well. I walk to this location at least once per week and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is delicious and my go-to meal is red beans and rice with sausage $3.95). Can’t beat it. Réservez une table maintenant
