This restaurant has excellent enchiladas covered in a rich mole sauce. I'm amazed that the reviews don't add up to 5 stars. We got the shredded beef enchiladas and they where amazing. We also ordered the chile relleno and I was a bit skeptical because good relleno is not easy to create. Most relleno I've had is overloaded with cheese. The food quality and taste here have really gone downhill. Portion sizes are still generous. The food was just so bland, not much flavor like it wasn't seasoned very well. Back between 2004 to 2009 or so, the food here was amazing but something has changed. Perhaps lower quality ingredients? Before this visit, my last visit was probably about 10 years ago. Great food, the food was delicious!! The atmosphere for the day and time we went, was pleasant. (it was on a Sunday afternoon) I recommend saving room for the fried ice cream!
