Every area I end up in I am always on the look out for good Cannolis. While visiting another Mitchell Plastics Plant I learned of Tringali's Bakery in Detroit. Their building advertises as the Best Cannoli in Detroit. They offer a decent selection of Italian and American bakery items, bread, and cakes. I tried their Cannoli and I unfortunately was not overly impressed. It does have the ricotta in it but the flavors of the filling are overwhelming covered with the almonds on top and in the cream, as well as it had a soft shell instead a nice crisp shell. I give it a 4/10. I also tried their Edise which is a pastry puff filled with cannoli cream, deep fried, and sprinkled with powered sugar. T...
I just visited the bakery for the first time yesterday with my mom. Growing up, my parents often brought home treats from Tringalis, like cannolis and cookies, but I had never been inside myself. I'm happy to say my first experience didn’t let me down! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the most amazing aromas. I was overwhelmed and wanted to buy one of everything, but I decided on a few spinach pies and some cannolis. Let me tell you, they were delicious! I had a spinach pie for dinner along with some steamed veggies (trying to live a healthy lifestyle, LOL), and this morning I enjoyed a mini cannoli with my coffee. All I can say is, you never disappoint! Truly the BEST BAKERY!
I want to thank Jeremy..his Dad..1st for Restoring my faith in humanity..2nd.for the wonderful surprise of these absolutely perfect donuts.and bread...and I am just over covid.too..jist what i needsd..ty for being a stand up business owner who truly does care what they are serving to the community. This bakery is fantastic, offering mouthwatering muffuletta, mini chocolate cream cakes draped in ganache, and my all-time favorite apple fritters! I eagerly anticipate their Paczki every year as well. The service is consistently prompt, even during the busy holiday season.
