Just had the most fabulous meal tonight. The steak is probably the best steak we have tasted. Nothing to be faulted, everything is wonderful. The restaurant itself is a lovely spot comfy and cosy on a winters night. The staff are helpful but not intrusive and everything is very relaxed. Lovely goulash soup starter, and then the steak on the hot stone. Melt in your mouth. So glad we got a reservation and definitely recommend. Super cute, authentic German restaurant. Loved the cosy atmosphere. Great, hearty food which was very tasty and plentiful! My partner and I had the goulash with spaetzle delicious, and Mum had the salmon which she loved. They each came with a very fresh salad which was also delicious! Our waiter was really friendly and helpful. The owner is quirky but adds to the fun! Highly recommend!
This was our favorite meal in Germany. The setting, the service and the food were outstanding. We had great banter and lots of laughs with the host. You will be transported back in time dining in this old building in one of Nuremburg's most beautiful locations. Highly recommend the pork loin in a pan over house noodles in a creamy mushroom sauce. Delicious!
In Nuremberg's oldest wine shop there are fun and friendly services where the waiter also meets the guests' photo wishes.
