Cool looking spot. Place was very hyped on many foodie groups. I had a disappointing experience though. You order your drink at the bar and get up and order your food at a window. No big deal I guess. Got the snapper with coleslaw and crispy potatoes. Coleslaw was inedible from either too much onion or something overpowering. Potatoes just seemed baked to me with seasoning and i didnt get anything crispy. For the fish I chosethe citrus on top but it still lacked flavor and just very underwhelming. Maybe the blackened would be better? Oh and they forgot my tarter sauce so I had to get up and stand in line again for 10mins just to get that cause the waitstaff doesn't do that. I’m so late to the game, but this spot has THE BEST fresh fish options in town. I ordered delicious blackened swordfish tacos that were dressed with sauces and toppings that perfectly accompanied the protein. You have to get in here and grab this grub!! The service was also welcoming, fast, and friendly. Kocho was the nicest mixologist!To top if off it feels so tropical and breezy here. The atmosphere is really setting the mood for an upscale beach shack feel in the middle of downtown St. Pete!
Once you step through the gates you’d think you were in a outside beach bar! Multiple covered dining activity areas, order at the cook shack. Had fish spread, hush puppies black grouper. Fish very fresh and well cooked. Meals served on compostable wares. Good tap beer selection. Attentive wait staff. Accessible ‘heads’, free parking in small lot. I’ll be back!
Came here by chance while having a night out with friends. Atmosphere is laid back and inviting. Food service was quick and delicious and bartenders were responsive and quick. Live music was great. Will definitely be back!

The vibe. The food. The amazing drinks and of course wonderful staff. There is no place like Trophy Fish! Go for the fresh fish hush puppies and stay for the “Fin Tonic” cocktail. It’s devine! Cannot wait to come back!
One of the best seafood restaurants I have ever eaten at, a real and absolute delight. Fresh, fresh, fresh seafood. All outdoor dining in an unconventional location creating and ambiance that it truly remarkable.
Fresh and delicious fish and tasty cocktails. The atmosphere was lovely too. St. Pete has needed a place like this for a long time now.
