The evening started out really nice at this place. Had the hand grenade, was tasty. As we were heading out, my friend ordered a drink and had asked the female bartender downstairs to pour it into the hand grenade cup. It became apparent very quickly that she had no interest in do that and was derogatory and rude to my friend. From the way she was interacting with other people at the bar, it was clear that she had a problem that he was gay and from another country. She kept saying she couldn 't understand him in a very condescending way and implied that he couldn 't afford the $2.50 extra that it would cost for the extra soda water. I would not recommend this place. While the hand grenade drink was enjoyable, the bartender was very rude and made insulting comments. He was a short guy with a dark beard, and this incident occurred around 9:15 PM on December 30, 2022. He seemed irritated because we didn’t order the 12-drink special that only lasted 15 seconds. He even told my friends and me not to return to the bar. Instead of explaining the ingredients of the shark attack drink when we first approached him, he simply told us to "just order the f***."

The perfect place to grab a quick drink if you venture onto Bourbon Street! After two grenades I was having the best time (hence how happy I am in the picture ? ! The drinks are priced well and the atmosphere is fun and friendly! The bartender was super nice and funny and I got my drinks quick! This is my go to place on Bourbon!

Came here for the first time yesterday. Great bar on Bourbon. They have drink specials. Fun atmosphere. Great LIVE music and the bartenders are very engaged and entertaining when they serve their hand grenade and shark drinks. Cool spot to check out if you are in the area. The bartenders here are fantastic, and they serve the famous Hand Grenade cocktail, which was really good. The Shark Attack and Pirate drinks are also excellent. It's a must-try for the Hand Grenade. Overall, it’s a great bar with a lively atmosphere and live music.

The first stop I make on Bourbon Street is Tropical Isle to enjoy a Hand Grenade. It’s truly the best drink in New Orleans, no question about it. Each bar in the area is perfect for enjoying a delicious drink with friends.

Come for the drinks stay for the environment. Andrew the bartender makes the place bump. Dude is the coolest guy great at his job! drinks are good. The place is so fun!

Hand Grenades are the best. I can never visit NEW ORLEANS without stopping by to get a frozen hand grenade.
