Après avoir lu tous les avis positifs sur cet établissement, nous sommes allé motivés et confiants au Tropicana. Réservation de transats et table au restaurant la veille par téléphone pour ne pas prendre de risque. Après un repas aussi cher que ridicule (quantités dignes d'une degustation plus que d'un véritable repas) , on nous annonce qu'il n'y a plus de transats de disponibles, mais seulement des matelas à même le sol !! (Nous avions réserver ces transats !!!)Le plagiste nous voyant quelque peu agacé, propose de nous offrir un matelas et un parasol. Offre que nous attendons toujours aujourd'hui !Bref, pour résumer, repas cher pour des quantités ridicules et service plus que moyen.Payer ch...
We arrived for lunch and were were seated on the deck beside the beach under lovely parasol for a pastis which was served with the best Anchoiade we have ever had we will both be somewhat 'garlicy ' this evening, but who cares? The...heavens then opened and torrential rain blasted us all under cover where the windows were lashed by the torrent. We had Bourride which was sensational. Could only manage a Poir William and cafe after that. Prices would have knocked my socks off if I had been wearing any! Spectacular cooking and if the weather had been kinder we would have stayed all day. Merci santé du chef!
En général, manger sur la plage est assez bien. Parfois vraiment bon, mais généralement au moins au niveau minimum de qualité. Dans ce cas, c'était vraiment décevant. Tous les services étaient en dessous de la norme. Même quelque chose d'aussi simple que le guacamole avait un goût chimique, les gambas étaient sur-cuits et sans saveur et la salade manquait de fantaisie. Le service était bon et extrêmement rapide. Ils voulaient une table à l'intérieur, car c'était plus frais. À moins qu'ils ne préfèrent s'asseoir dans le sable, mais ils risquent d'avoir chaud. Ce n'est pas un endroit où nous reviendrons.
Yesterday wasn't my first time on this place . I went there also a month ago more or less, and I can notice all the time that the service is not good at all. They have really slow service , almost 30 min waiting before...to order and 45 minutes to receive 2 salads (one arrived before and the other 15 min later) . This is the only bad thing I can say about this restaurant, cause they have good food good music and the restaurant it's really nice . Just don't take the vitello tonnato it wasn't good at all . For the rest they have amazing salads, fish are really fresh and also the meat .

Visited with my family for drinks and desserts for the kids . After being shown to an un cleared table , waited for 10 minutes in which time I had spoken to one waiter and gestured to two others , we ended up walking out...due to lack of any service. Awful place , avoid and go next door !!
Je suis allé à la plage il y a 2 jours et j'ai découvert que toutes les plages privées étaient en cours de rénovation. Le Tropicana avait l'air extrêmement prometteur avec un paysage incroyable, à seulement 30 mètres de la plage. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.
Nous avons adoré cette station balnéaire pour bronzer et déjeuner. Ambiance familiale, pas une fête comme sur la plage. Excellent service, ambiance propre et classique. Luxueux sans snobisme. Bonne nourriture!
We loved this beach resort for sun bathing and lunch. Family friendly, not a party like down the beach. Great service, classic clean ambience. Luxurious without snobbery. Good food!

Plage vraiment magnifique, bonne nourriture, service amical. Il est conseillé de réserver une table à l'avance car l'endroit est très vite complet!
Its been bulldozed by the council so dont bother very sad as it was good . the coucil have removed nearly all the restaurants from the beach
