True Food Kitchen El Segundo

Seated on time of reservation. Although our appetizer order came quickly, our table server was also the bar tender which impacted her availability to take timely entree orders. Both the edamame guacamole and herb hummus appetizers were very tasty but should be served with more chips and pita bread for the quantity and cost of each dish. Took longer than expected to be served our entrees but the wait was worth it as they were all quite delicious.

L'expérience globale a été merveilleuse! Le seul défi que nous ayons eu était de devoir donner notre numéro de téléphone pour pouvoir scanner le menu. On nous a fourni un menu papier, ce qui était super, mais nous ne faisions pas partie du programme Rewards et avons quand même été priés de donner notre numéro de téléphone

We had a reservation for a party of 8. We were seated right away. Our server came to our table promptly to take drink orders and answer questions. Several in our group have allergy issues. They were able to accommodate all of them with each persons first choice. The food was delicious.

Don’t offer guests a special wine menu with close out wines at great prices if you don’t have them in stock. Happened twice. Was told by manager he couldn’t make any price adjustments to the regular wine list which was wrong. He could have if he wanted to. Réservez une table maintenant

Portion size small for price paid. The bowl of season harvest salad was about 1/3 full. Very few vegetables. The salad cost roughly $16 but probably cost $2 to make.

Salmon was terrific and cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts that came with tasted unseasoned. Apple dessert was overly sweet. Table service was ok.

The staff was great accommodating our large party. Our server took care to make sure our needs and the allergy in our group was addressed

Service was quick and courteous. Food was great. Chocolate flourless cake was my favorite.
