This restaurant is very easy to find, situated as it is right opposite the Japanese Garden on the Hoeheweg. I ate here 8 times during a 10-night stay near Interlaken. My usual choice was Vegetable Spring Rolls with a bowl of Steamed Rice. Not a huge meal, but it was all I wanted. On the last night I had Fried Rice with Vegetables, which was a little disappointing, as not all the rice had turned from white to a fried colour and I wished I had stuck to the Steamed Rice. The main recommendation for this restaurant is the service. The waitresses (I saw 3 of them altogether during the visits) were all very charming and attentive. They made you feel that nothing was too much trouble for them. It's never easy dining out on your own, but the service from these young ladies really helped to make my holiday one to remember. THANK YOU! The boss was also around to see you had what you wanted or wait at table when required. The inside of the restaurant is spacious, with a relaxing atmosphere. There were also tables outside, under the awning. There was also occasional musical accompaniment from the singing chef!Eating out anywhere in Interlaken is never going to be cheap. But the prices of some of the items on the menu did seem to be quite high. However, I would still recommend this place to you to try. I will certainly be back in the near future, hopefully!
