Tsunami - Lafayette

I traveled from NOLA to Lafayette to spend some time with a couple of friends. My friend from the area suggested we have lunch at Tsunami. Great choice! Service was fast and friendly. I asked our amazing server Evan to suggest a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. He told the bartender what I had asked for and the bartender crafted the most amazing refreshing drink ? it was delicious! We ordered a variety of items from the menu which were all scrumptious. We couldn?t really decided which item we enjoyed the most. If had to choose just one, I guess I would say the Eggplant Miso seemed to edge out all the others. I highly recommend Tsunami!

I can always count on Tsunami to make me feel at home. The waiting staff never makes me bad for special order of my sushi roll, the edamame and the chocolate martini is to die. The staff is always friendly and I always see old friends there. I always go back to Lafayette. I also remember all the happy times my brother had here before he was killed to be here and see his friends make me a little closer to him. And the owners are the bomb! I recommend everyone visiting Lafayette!

We had a late lunch there, so it wasn't too busy. My son had a Bentobox he really liked and my wife and I shared 6 different sushi roles. All were great and exceeded my expectations. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to the new food here. A

Nice place for a date! Beautiful decor, table decoration Presentation of meals. We loved our Bento Box at noon, the price is right!

Rainbow roll seemed to be missing a piece of fish, but it was good. The father-walais role was also good.
