I had a fabulous time at this location! I've been a patron at their Metropolitan Ave./Kew Gardens a few times and love it so I was excited yet nervous to have a location so close to my home. Excited because the other location has excellent service, delicious food, and strong sangria, though nervous because it would be a shame if this new location didn't measure up. Well, boy was I reassured and pleased!! This location is smaller and currently hold a byob policy for lack of liquor license. But don't take those as negatives! I decided to leave an opinion here because I had the most delightful time in this place. Our amazing waitress was so sweet and attentive. Also very hardworking, I believe her name is Maya I might have spelled it wrong) It’s a small place but you won’t believe the amount of food they are packing and serving for the tables. Specially being Easter and in this busy environment she didn’t have a bad attitude or mess up anything. I go pick up my food I have no problems everything is full. I order on line and the little chunky Spanish lady keeps sending us a half empty rice. So I called kindly and asked her why is the rice only empty when I get it delivered through the app, but when I come pick up it's always how it should be and that's full. She got nasty right away and said if you want more rice you have to buy another rice. I said back nicely I shouldn't have to purchase another one just because your leaving it half way empty. Maybe we made the wrong choice on the menu, but the food was not worth it. We were expecting a platter with the best of the Peruvian kitchen. However we got served a plate with nothing else than deepfried, cheap cuts of meat. Where is the love? The beef (stated on the menu) was not on there. Eventhough we mentioned, there was no compensation whatsoever. The desert was good, but not outstanding. We will probably not be back here. Staff was friendly. Restroom: super clean.
What a great place. 5 of us went there just yesterday. Waitress took our orders never writing everything down, got it all correct too. Now the food excellent. We had such a variety pasta, fish, chicken, steak, salad, beer, sangria, wine and flan. Just really great service and food. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. For sure we will go back.
