I live about 15 miles away from another store that has a tubby option, and I was at a pickleball event where I work with a food truck. My partner had a craving and had never tried Tubby's in his 43 years, so I wanted to get him one at this location. It was shocking to compare this experience to the other place. At the nearby Tubby's, I usually get two jumbo steak and cheese sandwiches with mayo, steak sauce, and tubby sauce for just $22. Those sandwiches are larger and have more meat. If I want a regular size, it’s only $9, and I can add peppers and onions for the same price as well.

The bread tastes terrible, and there’s really not much meat or cheese in the sandwiches. The lobby has been closed since COVID, and they say it’s due to a staffing shortage. It makes it difficult to go with a group from work. Prices have increased, but the quality has definitely decreased. This isn’t the Tubby’s I remember.
I actually live MUCH closer to the 12 and Schoenherr location BUT, EVERYTHING about this location is BETTER, especially the bread! It's ALWAYS fresh, and a lot more care goes into the assembly of their food! The people are fantastic, too! Also, they have an assortment of fantastic CUPCAKES!
I do not know his name but the guy that is often there at the drive thru is incredible, we've been going here for years and have never once had any errors.

I have been coming here for almost 5 years and love this place the atmosphere is wonderful the staff are great and the food is fantastic..
Ordered a BLT at drive thru. Sandwich only had bacon and the banana peppers I asked for. No lettuce, no tomatoes. Was very disappointed.
This place is incredible! The food and service are both outstanding! I will definitely be coming back.
