I had passed Tuk Tuk quite a few times on foot and by bus and it always intrigued me. I am a sucker for good Indian food, and none of that oily take away nonsense. When we arrived we weren't really sure how it worked, could we just sit down, or do we wait to be seated and we stood there's a while waiting with no one really paying attention to us. Eventually someone came over and said that we could sit any where we would like and seemed annoyed that we didn't know where to go. Besides that, the service was good. The food came quite promptly and the servers were efficient. I ordered the chicken Korma and asked for them to add a bit of extra chilli in for me and they didn't disappoint with...re...
The food quality is great but not amazing (all the chicken was on the dry side and half the meat was chicken so... But what I really loved about this place was the small portions and care/speed of their service. You get to try so many things before feeling full and you can order dishes on the fly because they arrive so quickly. Simply a great place to grab a variety of basic Indian foods when you don’t want to commit to one!
A RECENT TWITTER chat between myself and fellow blogger Blythe (lunchquest.co.uk) identified the need to establish a new go-to Indian restaurant following the unfortunate closure of our favourite haunt Rivage last year. I had dined at Tuk Tuk before, although never turned my experience into blog copy. Indian food is a regular thing in my life and filling that void would be difficult.
we are a group of students on a university trip to edinburgh, there were 17 of us in tuk tuk last night and sam could not come any more! Eat was so good and so amazing worth, but I think more credit should be awarded to the waiters of their superior name, when I asked that our waitress names quoted in this review, which consisted of the manager, instead of pushing his hard work!

Food was impressively good! However, the food portion was not so satisfying as it came with a few chunks of meat. The staff were friendly except for one or two. Overall experience was nice and it’s a little bit costly with the size of portion provided. The tatse of food is not very great. Its just ok and the quanity is limited. The food menu is limited and very few options for vegan food. The ambience is great and the staff is very helpful Slightly overpriced. You get a feel of bollywood surroundings when you enter the place. #Aks #collectingcities #collectingmemories
chicken biryani 2/5 disappointment. it is more of chicken masala rice instead of an authentic huh biryani pav bhaji 3/5 quiet good service 3/5 cleanliness 3/5 ambiente 3/5 total 3/5
4 points only to the taste of food. Service was very average and portion were lil tapas. A good Indian feel to the ambience, gets quite busy as evening sets in.

cheap and subtle, a great place to get sone Indian snack, her Samosa Chaat was beautiful and filled. they have a lot of street Indian food dishes available.
it is a great place to try some authentic Indians with a whirl. I personally recommend the Samosa chat that's pretty good. totally recommended! keep it up.
