From the moment you walk in, you 're enveloped by an atmosphere that feels upscale and inviting, blending rustic charm and modern sophistication. Food: Let 's talk about the star of the show: the Shoo Mercy French Toast. This is not just breakfast; this is an event. Picture thick slices of fluffy challah bread soaked in a luscious vanilla custard and grilled to a golden brown perfection. But it doesn 't stop there. The dish is thoughtfully layered with peaches and blueberries, providing freshness that cuts through the richness. A nice amount of dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of maple syrup create a harmonious blend of indulgent yet balanced flavors. It 's a symphony of textures and tastes that elevates the classic French toast to a new level. Service: Impeccable service complements the outstanding food. The staff at Tupelo Honey are well versed with the menu and genuinely warm and attentive. The Shoo Mercy French Toast alone is worth the visit, and when you combine it with the excellent service and ambiance, you get a dining experience that leaves you saying, Shoo, mercy I 'll be back! Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Whether you 're a local or just passing through Asheville, put Tupelo Honey on your culinary map.

This is the place for good fried chicken. We split the 1/2 chicken. It was crispy and juicy. Smaller pieces but that means it's better chicken not gmo. We got the fried potatoes and they were delicious. We added some gravy for dipping. Everything was good. Service was friendly and a clean place to eat.
