I stopped by the restaurant and ordered a "small doner and small chips." When I got home and opened the bag, there were no chips inside. I called the restaurant to explain what I had ordered and what I had paid for, which was a small doner and small chips. Instead of receiving an apology, I was questioned if I was sure there were no chips. Of course, I am sure, otherwise, why would I bother calling them? I felt insulted that they would suggest I would call them for no reason. Do they really think I would go through the trouble of calling just to try and get a free bag of chips? I will not be returning to this restaurant.
90 minutes for delivery including 40 minutes getting cold in the car (7 minute journey). Food arrived stone cold. Politely refused delivery only to have the driver call us English motherf*ckers as he walked away. There was no need for that. We were not rude to him and did not deserve to be spoken to like that. We 're hard working people and just wanted a quick, hot, meal after a long early shift at work. Having put this down to a new guy having a bad day (still no excuse really), we have since read several other reviews mentioning abusive and rude staff, so I would avoid this place.
This restaurant is no longer as good as it used to be, especially after the new owners raised prices and lowered the quality of the food. The wraps were poorly wrapped and half of the fillings were incorrect. It also took a long time to receive our food. It seems that with more and more negative reviews, this place may be on its way out.
I usually order delivery, but recently I decided to dine in after work for a kebab. I noticed they had installed a new charcoal grill and had some new staff. I'm not sure if they are under new management, but I tried the lamb shish and it was honestly delicious. I would definitely recommend it.
