This place is legit! Freshly made to order Turkish grill! The grilled chicken kebab was tender with a charred grilled taste! Not reheated frozen chicken that you get at fast food chains! The lamb Adana was two skews perfectly grilled with rice and salad. The falafel sandwich was great with the tahini sauce. They have a little Turkish market too!!. Home made , fresh and independently owned. A great hidden gem! Support your local businesses! Nice friendly staff! Update ! Another great meal ! Turkish kings feast ! Always fresh ! We had an eggplant appetizer, adana kebab, and lahmacun. Everything was delicious. I love that they also sell a selection of Turkish groceries. The seating area is small but luckily we did not have to wait (went around 7PM on a weeknight). Despite how busy they were, the service was great. I can’t wait to go back! We’ve been ordering from Turkuaz for years! Ufuk, the owner is amazing chef and person! He is always happy to see us. It’s a small little place in West Hempstead that has great selection of tasty, delicious food.
