One of the worst experiences of a Turkish restaurant i've ever had. Placed my order at 7pm, at 8.30pm it wasn't here despite the estimate saying it would arrive between 8-8.25pm. When I called, they seemed surprised as the driver had left a while ago. That meant that when it did turn up, it was almost stone cold! I was starving and was finally looking forward to eating. I then poured out the mixed shish that you can see in the photo and couldn't believe it! The chicken was dry, the lamb was ok, but for £9.75 i'd expect at least double, maybe triple. Did they panic and send me the leftovers from the restaurant? Sticking to Astaire going forward.
Missing items on delivery, which were on time. Called and told expect items in 20 minutes. Called multiple times, 50 minutes later told it had been delivered. Verbally shouted at by the owner and not once did I raise my voice. He hung up on me, absolute disgrace, no refund offered and no apology. Feel sorry for the staff that have to deal with his attitude. Never again will we order from there
Ordered food hours in advance for collection and was left waiting for 30 minutes. Not the end of the world as it was busy time and they were apologetic, but after getting the food home less than 5 mins after leaving it was all stone cold. Not acceptable, and they have lost any future custom from me.
First time ordered from their website directly instead of Justeat, there was Option to have 10% discount which reduced the bill by £1.49 only BUT LARGE Adana kebab was half the normal size, rice were literally 2 spoon, and there was no bulgar. Why??

Still waiting for my food as I write this. Over an hour and a half waiting. The food will no doubt be cold when/if it does arrive. Your number is off the hook too, clever. Don’t advertise yourself on just eat if you can’t deliver. Disgraceful.
We we not get any takeaway food from here again the portion so small 4 small chicken bits and 3 small bits of meat and the rice just covered the bottom of the tray. Don't waste your money at this place in Witham
Really disappointing! Have eaten in the resturant here and it's usually amazing food. But tonight not so much, the lamb doner meat was so dry and hard :

Terrible take away , stay clear . Been on the toilet all evening after eating a chicken shish and lamb doner.
We have ordered a big lunch for our work party. All food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.
