Nous avons visité cet hôtel lors d'une croisière. Après avoir commandé des boissons, nous avons demandé à regarder un menu en anglais. Nous commandons notre nourriture avec un serveur masculin, qui a écrit cela sur son bloc-notes. Après une demi-heure d'attente, et toujours pas de nourriture, nous ... lui avons demandé combien de temps nous devions attendre. On nous a dit un autre minutes. quelques minutes plus tard et toujours pas de nourriture, nous avons demandé à une serveuse où était notre nourriture, pour se faire dire que nous n'en avions pas commandé !! Quand nous avons demandé à parler au serveur qui a pris notre commande, elle nous a dit qu'il avait fini pour la journée. Bas et voi...
We chose this restaurant because of the advertised fish on the boards outside and the attractive redbrick buiding. The inside is gemutlick and a charming girl served us. My husband and daughter each had the fish platter which they pronounced delicious. I had the halibut and it was beautifully cooked and served with potatoes and salad and a great sauce. We had beers to start with, a good bottle of Grauburgunger with our meal. We finished with superb apple strudel and vanilla sauce. The bill was a reasonable 88euros for three. A great find.
We sat for a while before we got served and we struggled with the German menu, in particular we wanted to find out what a zander fish was. We were handed the English menu and zander fish was translated as ...zander fish! It appeared to be a perch or similar. It was excellent, fried in a light batter with sauerkraut as an aside. I opted for the baked potato as I was not hungry. The potato was served with herb butter in foil, shaped like a chicken (?). My apple juice was tasty and the Rostocker (local) beer was apparently very nice.
My friend and I enjoyed lunch and a glass of wine in their outdoor seating. I'm vegetarian and could not find much in Warnemünde but Twee Linden offered a baked potato and green salad and it was lovely. The salad had a good variety of vegetables on it and the potato had a generous portion of tzatziki on it. My friend had fish with a mustard sour cream sauce served with rice and braised cabbage and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waitress only spoke halting English but enough to get by and the service was very good. Recommended.

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and Yelp and were pleased with their wide selection of preparations of fresh fish. The halibut was delicious. The portions were also very, very generous. We sat inside, since it was raining, and found it to be very cozy. We also found the pace of service to be leisurely though we appreciate that they were busy and the speed of service expected by Americans is not always what is standard in other countries.
Pire expérience de restaurant. Nourriture banale pour un prix cher. Fait le plus choquant, les FUMÉES personnelles dans le restaurant, juste à côté de la cuisine et des clients. Mauvais service client et le personnel nous traite comme des imbéciles. Je ne recommande certainement pas cet établissement
Only had one woman waiting tables and it was a warm fine sunday--so she was a little overwhelmed and rushed. Had the schnitzel with white asparagus, which had been cooked to mush. Schnitzel was good tasting though. Better place to have just stopped for a drink.
Although we were on a cruise, we splashed out for a luncheon at this restaurant. I had the plaice (Scholle) - it was wonderful. It came whole - as it should, not filleted. My husband had the halibut which he said was also great. Good service, amazing food.

You won't be dissapointed when visiting "Twee Linden" right by "Am Strom" in Warnemünde. Generous servings of good food and friendly staff makes this a place to return to. And when the weather allows you can sit outside by the canal "Am Strom".
