W e really appreciated our server's demeaner and kindness with helping us with my very young grandchildren.It's not entirely family friendly. Only had one booster seat and one highchair when we needed booster seats. Didn't offer crayons and a colouring sheet for kids,...but she did bring white paper and a pen. She tried. We went at and it wasn't busy...at first. After we received our entrees, we ordered desert and specialty coffees, then the service tanked. How long does it take to cut a piece of cheesecake and throw scoops of icecream into bowls and bring coffees and a liqureur on the side? Try min. By that time it was busy and we still excused it and I left a good tip for our server...howe...
Twisted Olive never disappoints! My most recent dining experience was Entering the restaurant we were greeted within seconds, the atmosphere was warming and lighting was to spec. We started off with two Old fashions, beautifully garnished and just what we needed to warm up...on a winter night! For an appetizer we chose crab shrimp stuffed mushroom caps, they were rich, creamy and a delightful start to our meal. Our entrees were outstanding. I chose the filet mignon and my boyfriend had the sirloin oscar, both steaks were cooked as per our request. We paired our meals with a bottle of “Layer Cake” Malbec. I was excited to try the new Twisted Olive Steakhouse as Kamloops doesn't have many options for steak. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and everything was perfect! From the great wine, attentive staff and amazing steak we loved our meals. I had the New York strip,which was seasoned and cooked perfectly and my wife's Sirloin Oscar was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! I look forward to trying some of the other great looking things on the menu.
as we travelled through BC recently, we stopped in Kamloops overnight, and as we searched for a restaurant near our hotel we found Twisted Olive. We were delighted with our dinner there. My husband and I both had a steak with the grilled veggies- they...were delicious. And the wait staff very efficient and polite. A lovely break in what was a long journey. Thanks, Twisted Olive.

The menu is fantastic and it was difficult to choose just one dish. Luckily, the 3 course meal option made it easier. The beef tenderloin was incredibly tender. The Caesar salad was a bit pricey at $9.50 but it came with pepperoncini, mozzarella cheese, and a slice of pepperoni, and it had a nice spicy kick. In five words: Bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed figs.
Came in for our anniversary. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff. The menu was varied and flexible (because we felt like something special). The service was prompt, without feeling rushed. Friendly, without be intrusive and the food was awesome. We will definitely be...back.
My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic prime rib steak dinner while celebrating our anniversary at this restaurant. The friendly and efficient service added to our enjoyable evening out.
My husband enjoys his steak Chicago style but rarely gets what he asks for and this restaurant delivered, hands down. Best steak dinner we’ve both had in many years
