First impressions matter. Before trying anything on the menu you can tell a lot about the vibes. Trying to get a seat was an issue. We felt discriminated and were denied an empty table and sadly when we confronted the manager she quickly stated not to even mention possible racism. I never speak up about these sort of things but when she wouldnt let me speak about it I felt I have no other option but to advise others. My hotel desk in a neighboring city recommended going to Twisted Sage, and I'm glad she did. It was delightful. We chose to sit inside due to a warm morning, and enjoyed a most delicious breakfast along with yummy coffees . I had the pumpkin pie hot latte with the croissant breakfast sandwich. I chose over easy eggs which was messy but heaven! The server had recommended avocado on it, which was such a good choice. The potatoes served with the meal were seasoned and fried to a nice crunch. Benedict was lukewarm charred frozen dinner barbecue icey bits included, mac and cheese was mostly grease yet somehow tasteless, and finding bright pink lipstick all over the coffee cup I had been drinking out left me unimpressed. The waitress ' response of Oh I must 've missed it such a little amount left me mystified as to why you 'd say that to a customer who had just wiped a strangers mouth off of their own and I no longer felt comfortable with my girlfriend whose immune system is repressed to risk eating or touching anything else. DO NOT GO THEIR IF YOU HAVE A WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM. They do not properly wash their dishes. They're waiter staff are rude. For a restaurant They need to learn how to cook as their food is not properly cooked and like store bought. For example their items which have pull pork is most likely using walmart pullpork.
