Two Sisters is a warm and welcoming establishment. A wonderful array of Thai/ Lao dishes on offer with great seafood, curry, pad noodle selections. The Pork Larb is crunchy, spicy and savoury and much like the real deal. The scallops with chilli basil is also a highlight. Spicy enough but went down a treat with the 3 kids too. Licensed but BYO wine with a bottle shop just downstairs. Great value.
This upstairs restaurant ( above Westpac) is a little gem. The service was first rate, quick and efficient. The food was fresh and very well prepared. The curries were creamy and with exactly the right spiciness. The beer was freezing cold, exactly as I like it. A small wine list but the BYO option takes care of that. Lots of choice in Dickson but this is amongst the best.
Weekend in Canberra decided to give this place a go. Haven't been before but have seen it a couple of times. The lao sausages are very good as is the duck w vegetables in soya sauce. We had it with sticky rice as well. Attentive staff and prices are mid range. Will definitely go back again if dining in Dickson.
Visiting Canberra we just googled for a local Thai restaurant and this came up so we tried it. The restaurant is in a small area above other shops in Dickson shopping area. The food was tasty and fresh and our choices came out quickly. We would visit again if in the area. Réservez une table maintenant
We were given the wrong dish once and then when the right one came it was terrible - barely any curry sauce for a curry and half full dish of actual ingredients. There are so many other options in Dickson so we'll never go again.
This was a quick meal on the way home from work. Service was fast, food was hot and tasty. The chicken chilli basil garlic stir fry was tender and flavoursome. Absolutley will go back there but i will allow more time next time
Great food, really good service and reasonable prices. We ordered some wine by the glass and it was "old" they were very good about it and didn't charge us. It is also BYO which is great. Never had a bad meal here.
I go to Two Sisters when I miss the time when I used to live in Laos. Always get the Larb, Lao Sausage, paired with sticky rice and a Beer Lao. Perfect dinner. Réservez une table maintenant
The meal was ok, nothing special. There were not many other patrons there so meal arrived in a timely manner. It was a nightmare just to find a park though.
