I got so excited about this vegan bakery! The whole way there I was wishing for it to be open. The end of year celebrations make for unreliable opening hours. Still, when we got there, the sign was outside. Inside I had to hold myself back. We left with 4 different slices of cake, only to leave some for the other vegans. I think that the choice at this time of the year was a little bit limited but I don't blame them, I'm looking forward to seeing what they will have the next time I'm there. The cakes we had were absolutely delicious. Yumm! P.s. They also had some other vegan products that might otherwise be difficult to find in the supermarket.
A friend told me about Txarloska some time ago and of course I had to try. I love every.single.thing they bake (by now I've tried everything ! All 100% vegan and 100% delicious, the owners are super nice and I swear I've already put on weight because of them ; The only thing that might that might keep me from going every week is my wallet.. it is a bit on the expensive side, but so worth it!

I tried the carrot cake and it was absolutely delicious. The cake was moist and not too heavy, with a fluffy frosting. What a great combination. There were so many amazing-looking choices (all vegan) that it was hard to pick just one. If I had stayed longer in Bilbao, I would have returned every day to taste something new.
