The Cafe side features Hong Kong-style dishes, typically designed for individual servings. On the other hand, the BBQ side presents traditional meals meant for sharing among family or enjoying in a communal style. Everything is served to be shared and enjoyed together. For vegetarians, there are options like stir-fried vegetables in fermented bean curd sauce and black mushrooms with Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce. I ordered the baked bolognese, and I found it to be quite tasty! I highly recommend checking out their lunch specials. You can add a drink for just $2.25, and the coffee and tea come with free refills! They also have happy hour from 3-5 PM every day, including weekends. The staff mainly speak Cantonese, but English and Mandarin are also spoken. Just a heads up: the restaurant is very close to a daycare center, so you'll often hear kids yelling in the background. Becoming my favorite of its kind, thanks to its flexibility and variety for mix and match options from its menu. It’s also more relaxing with less bustling traffic, providing ample mental space for digging into one’s meal while checking devices. The staff is generally attentive and present, although there’s one older member who can be a bit fussy. Overall, it’s a decent experience, and will definitely be back again!
Last day in the area, this was my third HK style restaurant. Best so far. Food was good and service was great. I hope I tried this place first and I would have come here everyday.
