Ukrainian Restaurant

This restaurant is in the middle of a residential area and I believe the family who owns it live upstairs. The owner is also the waitress, the hostess and the cook (talk about multitasking). The restaurant offers standard ukranian food including pierogies, cabagge rolls, stuffed peppers, sausages and all meals come with soup and bread. I tried the pierogies and cabagge rolls, both were good but it was the cabagge rolls that really stood out. I didn't try to desserts but a family sitting nearby stopped to tell us they were a must on their way out. They only take cash but it's so inexpensive that as long as you have a ten on you, you're good to go.

A windsor cat. A house on a side street that was transformed into a restaurant a long time ago. No servers. Only a sweet lady who has cost the place for 56 years! We had Pierogis, cabbage rolls, pork pigs, pork roast (my favorite! and hazelnut cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. Great comfort food. We definitely come back!

That's a jewel. The food is delicious and how my great aunts prepare. Cabbage rolls are delicious and prepare the traditional way. The walnut cake was also delicious. I wanted to visit this restaurant for many years and was not disappointed.

Food portion were huge....low prices....and so tasty! Almost in business 93 years in Windsor! One of our top 5 restaurants!
